“Workers restoring and improving the city’s historic cobblestone landing have uncovered buried treasure: An extra 5,300 square feet of cobblestones. . .

The River Parks Partnership is working with the city and Tennessee Department of Transportation on the best next step to take. But Coletta said, “The sentiment is not to touch them, to honor them and keep them in place.”

That approach would mean expanding the 7.5-acre project area, or about 326,000 square feet, with a 5,300-square-foot bump-out toward the Wolf River Harbor.”
