In his presentation, Lessons from My Third Grade Journal on Preservation and Advocacy, Tyrus revisits the musings of his 9-year-old self to explore the values, lessons, and perspectives that have shaped his career in historic preservation. Through personal stories and professional experience, he will share practical insights and best practices for those passionate about preservation and advocacy.
