Memphis Heritage, Inc. was founded in 1975 as a non-profit educational and charitable organization. Since 1975, we have been the voice for the preservation of the Memphis area's architectural heritage. From our efforts to save the Hill mansion on Union Avenue to our efforts today encompassing all of Shelby County, Memphis Heritage keeps working to preserve our area's rich history.

Membership: focuses on increasing membership through creative ways and establishing an annual membership drive.

Education: promotes awareness and knowledge of Memphis history and the benefits of historic preservation. Produces the annual Preservation Series Fundraiser and works with historic neighborhoods to document their histories and develops materials for school presentations.

Advocacy Committee – monitors and reports on endangered historic sites in Memphis/ Shelby County which will include a mid century modern component. Plans action response for endangered sites.
