The Capleville Methodist Church was placed on the National Register on Apr. 3, 1979.

History: The Capleville Methodist Church was erected in 1921-23 after the Bethlehem Methodist and Capleville Methodist congregations merged. The attached two-story parsonage was built ca.1960. The structure is typical of post-World War I-built churches in Tennessee, with some elements of Gothic Revival style. It currently serves Safe Place Ministries.
