This limited edition, signed and numbered original model showcases one of the most historic sites in Memphis. Built in 1828, the Hunt-Phelan house is located on world-famous Beale Street in downtown Memphis. Throughout its history the home has hosted many dignitaries including President Andrew Jackson. Following the Civil War battle for Memphis in 1862, the house served as the headquarters for Gen. Ulysses S. Grant as he planned his campaign on Vicksburg, MS.  The  home is on the National Register of Historic Places and will soon re-open to the public as a bed-and-breakfast inn and location for special events.  When lighted (cord w/ nightlight socket is included), the collectible miniature home becomes a lifelike symbol of the past and provides an opportunity to display an important piece of Memphis and Civil War history in your home.   Only a few left - $32.  Price includes applicable taxes, shipping and handling.
