Below you see actual photographs
of the
Public Promenade area (as opposed to architects/artists'
visualizations). The photos were taken from the Brinkley Plaza
parking garage immediately next to the Shrine Building; the perspective
is eye-level with the top of the current Post Office building.
The first photograph is the current landscape. The second image
has the Riverfront Development Corporation's (RDC) proposed towers
superimposed on the current landscape photo. The proposed towers
are represented to scale in accordance with the heights given in the
RDC proposal.
