Membership Drive Contest Has Incentive

The Memphis Heritage Development Committee announced a new member recruitment contest on Friday, June 27 at the MH grand opening.  The contest will run until December 31, 2003, and at the end of the contest, the MH member who has recruited and registered the most new members will win a 20" x 24" framed photograph from the Don Newman Collection. The winner will be announced on January 30, 2004, at the MH office during the South Main “Last Friday” trolley open house and can select an image from the Newman collection as the prize.

Current members are eligible to participate in the contest and can pick up membership envelopes at the MH office.  (Membership coupons from page 2 of The Keystone can also be clipped and copied.)  Those recruiting new members must write their names on the bottom of the submitted membership forms, and dues for the new members must be included with membership coupons. In addition to launching the contest, the Development Committee also announced that all memberships at the “Friend and Family” level of $50 or more will receive a 10% discount on retail merchandise in the MH store. This benefit is in addition to receiving a complimentary MH calendar and having The Keystone mailed to their home.
