MHI Holds Open House During Last Friday Trolley Tours

Memphis Heritage hosts an event during each South Main Street’s Last Friday Trolley Art  Night.

On the last Friday of each month South Main Street comes alive with art, entertainment, shopping, and much more.  The event held every last Friday starts at 6pm and lasts until 9pm. The trolleys are free during this time so you can ride up and down South Main and explore over 15 galleries, retail stores, and restaurants.
One of the reasons for Memphis Heritage's move to the new location in the Historic South Main District was to be able to participate in these great monthly events.

Along with our offices at 509 S. Main, Memphis Heritage has gallery space that will display various artists.  The works, which center around an architectural heritage theme, will be for sale and a portion of the sales benefit Memphis Heritage.

Memphis Heritage has also created a retail space that will sell items depicting Memphis' rich architectural history.  Currently available are T-Shirts, note cards, neighborhood histories, and gifts.  Plans are in the works to increase our inventory to include works on preservation, hard-to-find books on Memphis’ architecture, and other gift items.

The Last Friday events are free and open to the public. So come and visit and investigate all the wonderful benefits offered through Memphis Heritage!
