Membership: focuses on increasing membership through various creative ways and establishing an annual membership drive. Meets monthly

Education: promotes awareness and knowledge of Memphis history and the benefits of historic preservation

And produces the annual Preservation Series Fundraiser and works with historic neighborhoods to develop documentation of their histories. Meets monthly on 1^st Monday

Publication/Website: produces Memphis Heritage's bi-monthly newspaper, The Keystone, the annual appointment calendar and the website. Meets monthly on 3^rd Thursday (third Saturday at 10am for now)

Howard Hall/ Façade Easement Committee- inspects the Howard Hall property no less that quarterly and reports and directs the work to be done about any maintenance and upkeep issues. Meets quarterly (or call meeting if problems) Also annually inspects façade easements held by Memphis Heritage.

Advocacy Committee – monitors and reports on endangered historic sites in Memphis/ Shelby County

Plans action response for endangered sites. Meets Monthly on the 2^nd Wednesday

Architecture Auction/Events: Planning, Sponsorships, logistic etc for the biennial Architectural Auction (This committee is also involved in an every other year fund raisers as they arise)

New Century Fund for Historic Preservation /Development – Increase the MHI Endowment Foundation for support of MHI’s works and create a granting agency for Historic Preservation. Also guides the Board of Directors in securing capital and operating funds for the organization.
